How To:
1.Sit on the machine with your feet firmly planted on the ground, thighs secured by the pad, and hands placed on the handles.
2.Exhale and drive your elbows down and backward, flexing your arms while simultaneously squeezing your shoulder blades together.
3.Continue until your elbows are by your sides.
4.Inhale and allow your arms to raise and extend while simultaneously parting your shoulder blades, returning to the starting position.
Tips:
1. Try tilting back slightly at the bottom of the machine row. This will emphasize shoulder blade compression and create a greater range of motion as you extend your arms back toward the top of the row.
2. Make sure your elbows don’t extend too far back past your chest. Pulling in too far will round your shoulders and shift all the contraction in your back.
